Staff Correspondent: Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader said that any deal can be signed for national interest during the Prime Minister's India tour.
The Minister made the opinion while addressing a programme at Tejgaon in the city on Thursday. (current news)
He said that the Prime Minister will visit India as a hero. She will sign deals for the national interests. It's not one sided matter. Any deal requires consent of both sides. (Dhaka news).
Obaidul Quader also said, "No agreement will remain secret. Nothing will remain secret in this era of information flow’s explosion. And there is nothing to hide. Why will we hide? We are involved in politics for the people. So we do not think it is right to hide anything in front of people.”
Diploma Engineers Association of Roads and Highways Abdun Numan presided over the programme where Secretary of department of roads, transports and highways MAN Siddique, chief engineer of Roads and Highways department Ibne Alam Hasan and president of Institution of Diploma Engineers AKMA Hamid.
