Appeal for HSC results re-examination till July 30

Secretariat Correspondent: Students can appeal to re-examine the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations till July 30, according to the Education Ministry sources.

Students can appeal only through Teletalk mobile phone operator from July 24 to July 30, the sources added.

To appeal for re-examination of the results, please follow the instruction.

Type RSC  first three letters of the respective board Role Subject Code and send SMS it to 16222.

In return SMS, you will get a PIN number and confirmation of the amount of charge for the application.

If you agree with the condition, type RSC YES    PIN number mobile number for contact and send SMS it to 16222.

Tk 150 will be charged for a single subject. You can apply for more than one subject in a SMS. For this, type subject codes respectively using comma.

A total 68.91 percent of students passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations across the country. Of them, some 37,726 students obtained Grade Point Average (GPA)-5.

The pass rate was 74.70 percent while 58,276 students secured GPA-5 in the examinations last year.

Total pass rate is 66.84 percent under eight general boards and 33,242 students in the boards secured GPA-5 this year.

The pass rate is 77.02 percent under madrasa board and 1,815 students in the board obtained GPA-5 while 81.33 percent under technical board with 2,669 students obtaining GPA-5.
