Appellate Division starts office under acting CJ

Staff Correspondent: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) has started office under acting chief justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah.

The office started with the Chief Justice along with four other justices at 9:10 am on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday Law Minister Anisul Huq said, "The president was informed over CJ's one month for his illness."

It was learnt that the activities of the Appellate Division was set to run till 10:00am on Tuesday. Then as per rules, other justices along with lawyers will exchange views with the acting chief justice.
