Apu Biswas to get award from India

Entertainment Correspondent: Popular Bangladeshi actress Apu Biswas is going to receive an award at Hyderabad in India.

She will get the award from ‘Telangana Bengali Film Festival Ayna’ for her acting role in many movies at a short time. The Dhallywood superstar was also selected as an ambassador of Bangladesh in the film festival.

Following the issue, Apu Biswas told risingbd.com, “Award always provides joy. The award from outside of the country is really a matter of bliss. I am proud of being a Bangladeshi artist.”

Three days long Telangana Bengali Film Festival-2018 will be started from December 7. Bangladeshi drama film directed by Akram Khan ‘khacha’ will be presented in the festival. Kolkata actors and actress including Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta, Dev, Koel Mallick, Srijit Mukherji, Srabanti will join the function.
