Army deployed in 389 upazilas, Navy in 18

Staff Correspondent: Members of Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy will remain deployed across the country on Monday to maintain law and order of the country ahead of the 11^th parliamentary elections slated for December 30.

They will start their activities as striking forces from Sunday midnight.

Assistant Director of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Directorate Rashedul Alam Khan told the media on Sunday that Army and Navy members would perform their duties as striking forces till January 2.

Members of Bangladesh Army will be deployed in 389 upazilas and members of Bangladesh Navy will be deployed in 18 upazilas across the country to perform their duty ahead of the national election slated for December 30, he said.
