Arrest order for ex-lawmaker Momin

Staff Correspondent: The International Crimes Tribunal-1 has issued an arrest warrant against former BNP lawmaker from Bogra Abdul Momin Talukder alias Khoka (65) for his alleged crimes committed during the Liberation War in 1971.

A two-member tribunal headed by Justice Md. Shahinur Islam issued the warrant against him following a petition on Thursday.

Momin was the Razakar commander in Adamdighi upazila of Bogra during the Liberation War.

Investigation of the case started in January last year and the investigation officer has found Momin’s involvement in crimes committed during the Liberation War, sources said.
