Arrest warrant against Comilla mayor Sakku

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has issued arrest warrant against Comilla City Corporation (CCC) mayor and BNP leader Monirul Haque Sakku for allegedly achieving illegal wealth and concealing information.
Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court passed the order on Tuesday.
The court also ordered police to seize his properties if he was not arrested and submit report before the court on May 9.
Shahin Ara Momtaz, Assistant Director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), filed the case with Dhaka's Ramna Police Station on January 7, 2008.
