Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A Narayanganj court has issued an arrest warrant against Shyamal Kanti Bhakta, who was humiliated in public in the presence of a lawmaker.
Additional Chief judicial Magistrate Ashok Kumar Dutta passed the order on completion of hearing in a bribe case on Wednesday.
The case was filed on charges of taking bribe from a teacher with false promises of enlisting her in the monthly pay order (MPO) system.
An English teacher of Piyar Sattar Latif High School in Bandar area, Morsheda Begum, filed the case alleging that she had bribed the headmaster Tk 1.35 lakh.
