Arrest warrant against Ziaul Islam Munna

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has issued arrest warrant against Ziaul Islam Munna, the then private secretary of BNP leader Haris Chowdhury, in Zia Charitable Trust graft case.

Judge Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman of Special Judge's Court-5 in old Dhaka passed the order on Thursday.

Munna left the country with the permission of the court. He was allowed to stay abroad till September 23. But he did not appear before the court today. As a result, the court cancelled his bail and issued arrest warrant against him.
