Ashraf Siddiquee PM's new APS

Secretariat Correspondent: Ashraf Siddiquee Bitu, director of Centre for Research and Information (CRI) of Awami League research wing, has been appointed as Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary (APS), according to a notification.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday.
Bitu, former BCL leader, has been appointed for a year on contractual basis, the notification revealed.
Before joining in the new charge, Bitu will have to abandon all the posts in all other institutions and organizations, notification added.
He is also the member of incumbent Publication and Publicity Affairs Sub-Committee, and former assistant secretary of central Awami League sub-committee.
Bitu, a graduate and post graduate from Bio Chemistry in Dhaka University, also achieved MBA from the same university. He was also the former President of Dhaka University Film Society. He hailed from Mymensingh.
