‘Assistance to be provided to dispose building related cases’

Senior Correspondent: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said that assistance will be provided to dispose building related cases quickly.
The minister made the opinion while addressing reporters after a meeting with India's new High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das at secretariat in the capital on Wednesday noon.
Anisul Huq said, “Attorney general office will take initiatives to dispose those building related cases which were filed to demolish illegally made buildings.”
In reply to a question, he said, “Justice Sinha intended to stage judicial coup. His effort were in vein due to strong and dynamic democracy. No one will be able to do such conspiracy in future.”
Following the meeting with Indian high commission, he said, “India is our close friend. The relation between the two countries is better now. Bilateral discussions took place during the meeting.”
