Attack on Nur was a staged ‘drama’: Rabbani

Staff Correspondent: Ducsu general secretary (GS) candidate, also Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) general secretary, Golam Rabbani claimed that attack on Nurul Huq Nur, Ducsu vice-president candidate and leader of quota reform movement, was a staged drama.

He said, “This is a new propaganda like the old one in name of quota movement and safe road demonstration. They, quota demonstrators, Chhatro Dal and Shibir all together, staged the drama to create misunderstanding among female students as they were totally failed to convince male students in the polls.

He also claimed that incident of sealing ballot papers for BCL panel as a rumour.
