'Attackers on DU VC residence being identified'

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said the detectives are working to bring under trial the attackers of DU VC residence attackers.

The DMP Commissioner made the assertion while addressing a press conference at DMP Media center on Thursday.

He said, "The attack on that day was unexpected. The attackers broke CCTV camera and took away hard disk box. That’s why the investigation should be identified quickly. Nobody is above the law. Real culprits will be identified."

Asaduzzaman Mia also said that after checking the type of attack it can be said professional attackers were involved behind it.

Earlier on April 8, a group of attackers broke the main gate of the DU VC residence and vandalised furniture and other belongings.
