Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed a youth on three-day remand, who was arrested over threatening the Australia High Commission in Dhaka to blow off by bombing.
The youth Tousif Hossain was arrested from Banashree area of the capital on Thursday night.
Metropolitan Magistrate Wayes Kuruni Khan passed the order on Friday.
Earlier, Asaduzzaman, Sub-Inspector of Gulshan Police Station, also Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, produced him before the court and sought for a five-day remand.
On Tuesday, Australian High Commission in Dhaka was threatened to pay Tk 5 lakh through an email. Otherwise, the embassy threatened to be blown off.
