Australia to tour Bangladesh for test in August

Sport Correspondent: Australia will tour Bangladesh for a two-match test series in August this year, confirmed Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon.

He said, "Cricket Australia (CA) boss David Peever had confirmed to play a two-match test series against Bangladesh in August this year. The matches are expected to be held before and after the Eid-ul-Azha festival in Chittagong and Fatullah respectively."

The BCB boss said this at a press conference at his own residence in the capital on Friday noon.

Earlier, Cricket Australia cancelled a tour to Bangladesh in excuse of security ground in 2015. Then they said, "Australia will consider a fresh tour once the security concern is removed."

In 2016, Bangladesh hosted a series against England successfully. At that time, Australia expressed their satisfaction over the series. Since, the two countries started to discuss a fresh tour.
