Desk Report: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the Awami League is the servant of the people.
Awami League always works for the welfare of people following the path shown by Bangabandhu.
The Prime Minister said this at a function organized at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city on Tuesday marking the National Social Service Day. Department of Social Services organized the programme.
National Social Service Day is being observed today (Tuesday) under the initiative of Social Welfare Ministry amid different programmes across the country.
The theme of this year is "Innovation of Social Services: Digitalisation in Services This Time".
The day's prgrammes included procession, discussion, loan distribution among destitute and distribution of warm cloths among cold-hit people.
