B Chowdhury, Mahi, Mannan expelled from Bikalpa Dhara

Staff Correspondent: Founder President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury,  Secretary General Major Abdul Mannan (retd) and Joint Secretary General Mahi B Chowdhury have expelled from the party.

Professor Nurul Amin Bapari declared this at a press conference held on the National Press Club premises on Friday.

He also declared a new committee mentioning his name as party President and Shah Ahmed Badal as Secretary General.
 

He said, “Our main goal is to establish a government of the people through a free and fair election in the country. But, some people want to push all into jeopardy after collaborating with the present government secretly. In this situation, other leaders and activists have come together here to take a decision.”

Claiming that the new committee is the mainstream of Bikalpadhara, he announced a decision to join the Jatiya Oikya Front, an alliance led by Dr Kamal Hossain.

The latest move was born out of vengeance, as Bikalpadhara led by Badruddoza expelled Badal and other leaders.
