BATB wins ICAB award again

Staff Correspondent: For excellence in corporate governance, British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) bags top prize of ‘ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2016’ in Manufacturing (others) category.

Managing Director of BATB Shehzad Munim, non-executive Director and former secretary K H Masud Siddiqui received the award from the Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith at a ceremony held in a city hotel on Sunday, 28 Jan, 2018.

BATB has been received the award for last couple of years in recognition of transparency, corporate good governance and conducting business with responsibility.

This time, The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has given the awards to 27 companies for promoting corporate governance in the country's corporate sector.
