BB gets two new EDs

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Bank has promoted two of its General Managers to the post of Executive Directors (ED).

They are Managing Director (MD) AKM Fazlur Rahman and Forex Reserve and Treasury Department's MD Azizur Rahman.

BB's assistant spokesperson of the Department of Communications and Publications General Manager (GM) Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the news on Tuesday.

He said they got promotion as Executive Director (ED) on Monday.

Earlier on December 26, Laila Bilkis Ara, a general manager of BB’s Rajshahi office and head office’s market inspection department’s General Manager Mohammad Shah Alam secured promotions to the rank of EDs.
