BB set to unveil monetary policy Jan 30

Economic Correspondent: Bangladesh Bank (BB) is set to announce its monetary policy for the second half of the current 2018-19 fiscal year on January 30.
A press statement signed by Bank General Manager GM Abul Kalam Azad revealed the news on Tuesday.
“A press briefing is scheduled to be held at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall on the 4th floor of the main building of Bangladesh to publish Monetary Policy Statement for the second half of the current 2018-19 fiscal year,” the press release read.
This will be the first monetary policy declaration after the Awami League-led government assumed office for the third consecutive time.
