BCB names Test squad against South Africa

Sports Correspondent: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for two-match Test series against South Africa.

Mahmudullah Riyad, Subashis Roy and Rubel Hossain have been included to the squad but Nasir Hossain did not get the nod for the Test series against South Africa.

On the other hand, world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan who was absolutely brilliant in last Test series against Australia has been given rest in first Test.

The first Test is scheduled for September 28 at Potchefstroom. The second Test will be played from October 2 at Bloemfontein.

Bangladesh Squad:

Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Subashis Roy, Taijul Islam, Mehedi Hasan, Liton Das, Mominul Haque.
