BFF's women wing chairman sent to jail

Staff Correspondent: A court in Dhaka sent Bangladesh Football Federation executive member also women football committee chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiron to jail on charge of derogatory remarks about PM.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sufian Md Noman passed the order rejecting her bail petition on Saturday.

Earlier this morning, she was arrested from capital’s Dhanmondi area.

On Tuesday, Abul Hasan Chowdhury Prince, a permanent member of Mohammedan Sporting Club and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club filed the case with the CMM Court against Kiron for making a derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister.
