BIWTC's Eid special service from Wednesday

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) will start 7-day long special steamer services from Wednesday on the occasion of Eid–ul-Azha.

BIWTC public relation officer Mohammad Nazrul Islam Misha confirmed the matter to risingbd.com on Tuesday.

He said that the authority has launched the special service to ensure hassle free journey during Eid-ul-Azha.

A total of six BIWTC vessels will carry passengers from Dhaka to their respective destinations connecting Chandpur, Barisal, Jhalakathi, Hularhut of Pirojpur and Morelganj of Bagerhat and Khulna river ports under this special schedule.

The special service will continue till September 4, he added.
