BNP always ready for dialogue, says Fakhrul

Senior Correspondent: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said his party is always ready for a consensus to resolve the current political crisis including the poll-time government.

Speaking in a press briefing on Friday, he came up with the reaction in reply to the dialogue call made by the ruling Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.

Fakhrul said, ‘We have been urging them (AL) for a dialogue since long. Today, we are calling them again through you (media). We are ready to sit with them at any time and any place.”

“It was good what AL general secretary Quader said about dialogue. But he always seeks benefit. When he sees benefit, he can talk as he wishes. He (Quader) said that they would talk if BNP expresses attitude for dialogue,” the BNP leader said.
