BNP gets permission for rally under 22 conditions

Staff Correspondent: BNP has got permission from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to hold their rally in Suhrawardy Udyan.

The authority allowed the party to hold its planned public rally at Suhrawardy Udyan under 22 terms and conditions.

A source of DMP confirmed that in the permission letter issued on Saturday, the DMP made it clear that BNP only has the permission to use the venue to hold their rally from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday.

The conditioned included: BNP must refrain from making any controversial statements, and no sound boxes should be used outside the venue. If the party violates the conditions then the permission will be cancelled.
