Staff Correspondent: A court in Dhaka on Thursday sent BNP joint secretary general Khairul Kabir Khokon to jail after he surrendered before it seeking bail in connection with 10 arson cases.
Metropolitan Magistrate Golam Nabi rejected the bail prayers of Khokon in five cases while granting him bail in other five cases.
The cases were filed against the BNP leader with Paltan Police Station on the charges of blasting cocktails, vandalizing vehicles in 2015 during the anti-government movement.
