'BNP leaders speak illogical words to make poll controversial'

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Political Advisor HT Imam alleged that BNP leaders are speaking illogical words to make the Gazipur City Corporation election.

The Advisor made the allegation while addressing reporters after a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda at Agargaon in the capital on Monday noon.

HT Imam said the government will provide all kinds of assistance to make the Gazipur City polls fair and acceptable.

Following BNP's allegation over Gazipur district police super (SP) Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid, he said, "There is no specific allegation against SP Harun."

HT Imam also said that BNP accepts polls result only when they win otherwise they always term the polls as unfair.
