BNP playing foul politics over Khaleda's illness

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Awami League (AL) general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader alleged that BNP is playing dirty politics over the party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s illness.

He said, “BNP’s post-Eid allover movement finally fell on the shoulder of quota demonstration.”

The Minister said this while speaking at a programme at the second Meghna bridge construction project site on Tuesday.

Quader said, “Our main target during the upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha is preventing road crashes to resolve traffic congestion.”

Road transport and highway division secretary Nazrul Islam, additional secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Bangladesh Raod Transport Authority (BRTA) chairman Farid Ahmed, leaders of transport owners’ association and Bangladesh Garments Manufacturing and Export Authority, top officials of the administration including police were present in the programme.
