BNP to hold rally, black flag procession on Jan 5

Senior Reporter: BNP is taking preparations to hold a rally in the city’s Suhrawardy Udyan on January 5 marking the ‘Democracy Killing Day’.

The party also wants to hold rally and carry out black flag procession in metropolitans, districts and upazilas of the country on the same day.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi came up the disclosure at a press conference held in party’s Naya Paltan central office on Monday.

BNP leaders AZM Jahid Hossain, Khairul Kobir Khokon, Mir Sarafat Ali Sopu and Rafiqul Islam Mahatab were also present.
