BNP wants Khaleda’s treatment at United Hospital

Senior Correspondent: A seven-member delegation of BNP has met Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Sunday afternoon to discuss party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health condition and her treatment.

The BNP leaders requested the Home Minister to send her to United Hospital in Dhaka for treatment during the meeting.

The delegation, led by its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, met the minister around 3:00 pm at his secretariat office as per the schedule given by the home minister.

Khaleda Zia has been serving in jail since February 8 this year after a Dhaka court convicted and sentenced her to five years’ imprisonment in Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
