Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has deferred the date for the submission of the investigation report in a case filed over the incident of Badda twin murder of father and his daughter.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Amirul Haider Chowdhury set February 12 as the fresh date for the submission.
Earlier, the court set today (Wednesday) for the submission of the report but Badda Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shakhawat Hossain, also the investigation officer of the case, failed to submit the probe report today.
Jamil Sheikh, 38, and his nine-year old daughter were found dead at their rented house of 306, Moynarbag of North Badda in the capital around 6:00am on November 2, 2017.
In the afternoon, Jamil's brother Shamim filed a case with Badda Police Station in this connection, accusing Shahin Mollik, 26, a sub-let tenant of the victim’s residence and victim’s wife Arzina Begum, 30.
Jamil Sheikh was a private car driver by profession. His daughter Nusrat Sheikh was a class-III student of Badda International School.
