Banani rape: Shafat's driver, bodyguard remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court placed driver of Shafat Ahmed, the main accused, Billal Hossain on four day and his body Rahmat Ali on three remand in the case filed for rape of two university girls.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Laskar Hakim Sohel Rana passed the order on Tuesday noon.

Earlier, Ismat Ara Anne, Inspector of Women Support and Investigation Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), sought remand for them.

Detectives arrested Rahmat from Gulshan and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) caught Billal from Nabapur road on Monday night.
