Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 218 runs

Sports Desk:  Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 218 runs in the second test at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka and levelled the series 1-1 on Thursday.

Mehedi Miraz bagged a fifer, picking up four wickets in the two sessions as Zimbabwe were all-out for 224 runs. A brilliant unbeaten ton from Brendan Taylor in the second innings was not enough to thwart Bangladesh as Mehedi cleaned up the tail with Taylor stranded at the other end.

Following Lunch, Bangladesh broke the important 64-run partnership between Moor and Taylor as Mehedi removed Moor. Following that wicket, Regis Chakabva was run out as Zimbabwe tried to sneak in a cheeky single and lost their sixth wicket.
