Bangladeshi boys hack Myanmar govt websites

Desk Report: Cyber-71, a Bangladeshi hacker group, made cyber attacks on several official websites of Myanmar government in protest of killing Rohingya Muslims in the country.

The hacker group who claimed themselves as "Ethical hackers" forced to view a banner of demanding to stop Rohingya Muslims on the websites.

Tanzin Al-Fahim, a spokesperson of the hacker group, said they planned to make the cyber in protest of Rohingya oppression by the government.

The websites were hacked by the Bangladeshi group include official websites of Myanmar president office, Customs Department, Information Ministry and the country's central bank.

All the websites mentioned above were closed for sometimes after the attack, claimed Fahim.

During the period, they showed a banner of demanding to stop Rohingya oppression by the Myanmar government, he said.

The attacks will be continued until the oppression would be stopped, he added.

Cyber-71 earlier made attacks on websites of different countries. The group also several hacked Pakistani websites when excitement ensued over war crimes trial between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
