Bangladesh face West Indies today

Sports Desk: The Tigers will be looking forward to a happy ending before they travel to England for the ICC World Cup when they face off against the West Indies in the tri-series final at The Village in Malahide today (Friday).

The final match between the Caribbean boys and the Tigers will kick off at 3:45pm Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh put up a strong showing in the league stage with emphatic wins in all three games, undoing West Indies twice, but they have to break a jinx if they want to sign off on an unbeaten note and go to England with full confidence.

State-owned BTV, satellite TV networks Maasranga Television and Gazi TV will telecast the match live. At the same time, it will be broadcast by Rabbithole on YouTube.

Bangladesh smartly reached the final of the Tri-Nation Series as the lone unbeaten team beating West Indies twice and hosts Ireland once in league basis matches and now time has come for the Tigers to overcome the last hurdle in the final to clinch their first-ever trophy in a multi-nation series.

During the last decade, Bangladesh played six finals but failed to win any of them.

.Bangladesh probable XI: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan/Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mhamudullah Riyad, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Jayed Rahi.
