Bangladesh set 256 for SA Invitation XI

Sports Desk: Bangladesh have set a target of 256 runs for Cricket South Africa's Invitation XI in the lone ODI tour match at Bloemfontein on Thursday.

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won the toss and opted bat first. Tigers, thanks to Shakib Al-Hasan's 68 runs, managed to score 255 runs losing all wickets in 48.1 overs.

Shakib smashed an innings of 68 runs off 67 balls which includes 9 fours.

Hitter batsman Sabbir Rahman also hit a fifty in the match. He bagged 52 runs off 54 balls with two fours and three sixes.

Except the twos mentioned above, other batsmen could not hit any remarkable score for Bangladesh. 

Opener Imrul Kayes bagged 27 runs off 31 balls while his partner Soumya Sarkar returned for 3 runs off 13 balls.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 22 runs off 29 balls with three fours while Mahmudullah hit 21 off 27.

Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza hit 17 runs off 13 balls which includes a four and a six. 

Wicketkeeper Liton Kumar Das bagged 8 off 13 balls while all-rounder Nasir Hossain scored 12 off 23 balls.

Pacer Mohammad Saifuddin hit 13 runs  (unbeaten) off 19 balls while another pacer Mustafizur Rahman smashed off a golden duck.

For South Africa Invitation XI, Robert Frylinck, Malusi Siboto, Mbulelo Budaza, Aaron Phangiso took four wickets each. Beuran Hendricks and Willem Mulder smashed a wicket each.
