Bangladesh set 306 runs target for England

Sports Desk: Bangladesh placed a total of 305 runs by losing six wickets after playing their stipulated 50 overs in the opening game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at the Kennington Oval, London on Thursday.

A century from Tamim Iqbal and a Mushfiqur Rahim fifty put Bangladesh the winning target.

Tamim scored 128 off 142 balls.

He scores the first ton of the Champions Trophy. It has been a great innings from him so far. He is the second Bangladeshi to score a century in Champions Trophy.

Earlier, England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field.
