Sports Desk: Bangladesh has whitewashed West Indies  in two-match Test series. Tigers won by an innings and 184 runs in the second and final Test against visiting West Indies at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur on Sunday.

Off-spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz stole the show with a brilliant 12-wicket haul - seven in the first innings and five in the second.

This is Miraz's second 12-wicket haul after 2016 when the 21-year old spun a web around the English batsmen at the same venue. En route to his 12-wicket haul, Miraz (84) became the fourth highest Bangladeshi wicket-taker in Tests, leapfrogging ODI captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza (78).

Captain Shakib al Hasan (205), former spinner Mohammad Rafique (100) and left-arm spinner Taijul Islam (97) are ahead of Miraz in that list.
