Bank official among 2 killed in Gopalganj road crash

Gopalganj Correspondent: Two people, including a bank employee, have been killed in a road accident Khelna area in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj.

The deceased were known as Nurul Islam, 40, an officer of BASIC Bank in Kotalipara branch and Momena Begum, 25, wife of Shahid Molla.

Gopalganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Monirul Islam said a passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch when the driver of the bus lost control over the steering this morning, leaving 10 people injured. 

Later, the injured were sent to hospital where duty doctors declared the two people dead.
