Banks near cattle markets to remain open today

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Bank asked all banks to remain open its branches adjoining to cattle markets in the Dhaka city area on Tuesday to ensure smooth transactions.
The central bank issued a press release in this regard on Monday.
According to the direction, banks will keep open their branches adjoining to the cattle markets in the capital from 10am to 6pm as general banking and 6pm to 8pm as evening banking.
Bangladesh Bank also instructed the banks to arrange allowances for the officials and employees, who will perform duties on the day.
