Banks to remain open on Saturday

Economic Correspondent: Bangladesh Bank (BB) asked all scheduled banks to keep open their branches on Saturday (June 29) to help taxpayers pay income tax and submit challan of VAT, taxes and pay-orders.

A circular signed by BB General Manager GM Abul Kalam Azad on Thursday, was sent to the chief executives of all scheduled banks.
