Bari Siddiqui laid to rest

Entertainment Correspondent: Eminent folk singer and flautist Bari Siddiqui has been laid to eternal rest at his family graveyard in Netrokona.

He was buried after fourth namaz-e-janaza on Friday. His third namaz-e-janaza was held at 3:30pm at Netrokona Government College ground.

The noted singer breathed his at Square Hospitals in the capital around 2:15am on Friday.

Bari Siddiqui, who had been suffering from multiple complications, including kidney problem and diabetes, was put on life support for several days.

On November 17, he was admitted to Square Hospital when he was suffering from heart disease. Since then, he was kept on life supportat the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
