Barrister Mainul Hosein lands in jail

Staff Correspondent: A court in Dhaka has sent Barrister Mainul Hosein, to jail in a case filed in Rangpur.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaisarul Islam passed the order on Tuesday noon after hearing the case.

Earlier, he was taken to Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan court from DB office. Later, the detectives produced him before the court around 1:00pm.

On Monday night, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Barrister Mainul Hosein from the residence of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Rab) President ASM Abdul Rab.

Mahbub Alam, a joint commissioner at Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch said Mainul Hosein was shown arrest in cases filed in Rangpur and Brahmanbaria.
