Beef per kg Tk 475 in Ramadan

Staff Correspondent: The price of beef has been fixed at Tk 475 per kg in Ramadan.

Besides, meat of foreign cattle, buffalo, mutton, ram or sheep and goat would be sold at Tk 440, 440, 725, 725 and 620 respectively.

Mayor Sayed Khokon of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) came up with the announcement after an exchange views programme with meat traders association on Tuesday morning.

If any trader violates the fixed price, he must be brought to under law, the mayor added.
