Best services are being provided: Railways Minister

Staff Correspondent: Railways Minister Mujibul Haque said the best services are being provided to the passengers to ensure smooth and secured Eid journey.

The minister came up with the assertion while addressing newsmen after visitng Kamalapur railway station on Friday afternoon.

He said, "The pressure of passengers becomes heavier during Eid. Four times more passengers use railway during this time. That’s why the leave of railways staff and employees has been cancelled."

"There is no negligence of duty from railway authority ahead of Eid travel. If any situation arises after the proper surveillance then that would be mechanical error," he said.

Secretary of Ministry of Railway Md Mofazzal Hossain, Railway Director General Amjad Hossain, Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Sitangshu Chakraborty and others attended.
