Bhaluka man killed in blast identified

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: A man who was killed in explosion at Kashor area of the district's Bhaluka upazila has been identified as Alam Pramanik, 35, hailed from Telkupi village of Natore Sadar upazila.

He was a member of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), police claimed.

Meanwhile bomb disposal unit ended the operation after disposing four fresh bombs founded inside the house.

Around 3:00pm on Monday, the operation was declared end officially.

Earlier, a special team of bomb disposal unit reached the spot around 10:00am, Nur-e-Alam, additional superintendent of police in Mymensingh confirmed.

On Sunday evening, Alam Pramanik was killed in a bomb explosion in the house.

Following the incident, police detained four people including the house owner to interrogate them over the explosion.
