Birth anniversary of Suchitra Sen observed in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: The 87th birth anniversary of legendary Bengali actress Suchitra Sen was observed in a cheerful environment in Pabna on Friday.

Pabna Suchitra Sen Smrity Shangrakhhan Parisad and Pabna district administration organized several types of programmes with the assistance of cultural ministry. 

Following the day, a colourful procession was brought out from the office of deputy commissioner around 9:30am and visited main streets of the district town.

Later, a discussion and cultural function was organized at Pabna Govt Girls' High School.

Parading the main streets of the town, the procession ended at the where a rally was held.

Pabna Govt Girls' High School headmaster Abdul Jabbar presided over the programme where deputy commissioner (DC) Jashim Uddin, District parishad executive officer Kazi Atiur Rahman, Additional police super Shamima Aktar and others spoke on the occasion.
