Bodies of Marzan, Saddam handed over

Staff Correspondent: The bodies of militant Nurul Islam Marzan and his associate Saddam were handed over to Anjuman Mufidul Islam.

Abdullah Al-Nazrul, Inspector of Counter Terrorism unit of police, handed over the bodies from the morgue of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday morning.

Abdullah Nazrul said the bodies were kept at DMCH morgue. These were handed over to Anjuman Mufidul Islam to bury in Jurain cemetery as their relatives did not receive them.

The two militants were killed in a gunfight happened at the capital's Mohammadpur area with the members of Counter Terrorism unit on January 6.

On the following day, autopsies were completed at DMCH morgue.
