Bodies of two ‘militants’ handed over to Anjuman

Staff Correspondent: The bodies of two suspected militants, who were killed at Dhaka Airport and Panthapath, have been handed over to Anjuman Mafidul Islam for burial.

Shahab Uddin, representative of Anjuman Mafidul Islam, received the bodies around 12:45 pm on Monday.

Assistant Inspector of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit of Police Pradip Kumar was present.

Pradip Kumar said on March 25 this year an unidentified youth was killed in a suicide blast near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and Saiful Islam was killed during a drive at Panthapath.

As the bodies were kept at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue and remained unclaimed for long, the authorities concerned decided to hand over the bodies to Anjuman Mafidul Islam for burial, he said.
