Bodies of two youths recovered from Buriganga

Staff Correspondent:  The bodies of two youths, who jumped from the Postogola Bridge into the Buriganga River, have been recovered.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the two bodies from the eastside of Postogola Bridge around 9.00am on Friday.

They deceased were identified as Emon (20) of Sayedabad area, and Anika (18), daughter of Md Ohid Molla in Jatrabari area.

According to police, the duo jumped into the water from Postogola Bridge Wednesday evening.  The two families informed the police that they had been missing since Wednesday and naval police conducted a search for the missing youths.
